How it works
Opener is an iPhone app that helps Facebook users easily and effectively create an intimate online community to interact with their “closest” friends among their countless number of Facebook friends. Opener limits the number of “closest” friends to a maximum of thirty, whom you can easily select/deselect from your Facebook friend database. Furthermore, in order to facilitate users to share their privacy, Opener provides them with a simple and self-selective privacy control setting concerning who can view their contents. Opener can truly become a user’s own private space to openly share their thoughts, feelings, and events.
Additionally, Opener provides a clean, easy-to-visualize display of users’ contents by consolidating their activities into a “horizontal timeline.” Horizontally, the timeline is divided into dates and hours, while vertically, it lists the users’ profiles. Such two-dimensional display enables users to simultaneously see all their friends’ contents in a single glance.
